About The Position

Highland House Assisted Living is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance/Handyman to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-kept environment for our residents and staff. If you take pride in your work and enjoy helping others, we would love to hear from you!

Requirements

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently
• Dependable, organized, and self-motivated
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs
• Address plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry needs
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Maintain building systems and equipment
• Ensure grounds and common areas remain clean and safe
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests
• Assist with room setup, painting, and minor renovations
