Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of related inventory, storeroom, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of plant manufacturing and operations.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with strong collaboration skills across all levels of the company and external vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS .
  • Willingness to travel to other plant locations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all safety procedures, including wearing required PPE.
  • Adhere to health, environmental, and GMP guidelines in daily operations.
  • Initiate requisitioning and oversee storeroom operations to establish, maintain, and optimize MRO inventory .
  • Maintain a CMMS for ordering, tracking, and reporting spare parts.
  • Partner with the Maintenance Manager and team to align on current ordering and supply needs.
  • Maintain appropriate stock of critical plant parts and supplies.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments; enter receipts into the system.
  • Issue parts to staff, track usage, and maintain accurate records.
  • Organize and label all parts for efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Monitor inventory levels; generate reorder requests or purchase requisitions as needed.
  • Negotiate with vendors and purchasing to ensure cost-competitive, timely replenishment.
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Keep the parts room and related areas clean, safe, and organized.
  • Ensure all parts and supplies meet GMP and food safety standards.
  • Write and manage purchase orders (POs) for the Cut & Wrap facility.
  • Track and distribute orders to appropriate plant locations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in all relevant systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
