Maintenance Part Time Seasonal Staff
About The Position
Omega’s seasonal staff experience offers the unique opportunity for individuals to contribute professional skills and compassionate customer service while thriving in a vibrant learning-oriented environment. Maintenance Part Time: non-exempt, part-time; on average 21-28 hours per week. Reports to Facilities Director. This department is responsible for the physical operation of the campus. Maintenance is called upon to attend to the participant and staff housing; all classroom spaces; trash recyclables as well as the water and sewage systems. Maintenance also holds “night radio” for after-hours maintenance needs of the campus.
Requirements
- Plumbing, automotive, or general maintenance experience
- Timely, reliable, and service oriented individual.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Team Player.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Alignment with Omega’s Mission, Goals and Core Values.
Responsibilities
- Garbage and recycling pick-up.
- Minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry work.
- Housing duties such as changing lightbulbs, oiling doors, moving furniture in participant and staff housing.
- Sweeping roadways.
- Working with tools and machinery.
- Regularly lifting/carrying/moving heavy items.
- Possess a valid driver’s license, and operate motor vehicles as necessary.
- Other duties as required by the supervisor.
