About The Position
The position involves determining the sequence of paint operations and methods to be used, including the need for scaffolding and rigging, color blending and matching, time allowance between coats, order of application, and the type and amount of materials needed. The work will be performed according to specifications, blueprints, and trade practices. Responsibilities include setting up for jobs by mixing and matching paint, directing the erection of scaffolding when necessary, and applying decorative and protective finish coats to various items such as office furniture and interiors. The role may also involve performing taping, topping, and finishing of drywall, as well as maintaining Air Pollution Control District (APCD) logs as required.
