About The Position

The Maintenance Painter UTO is responsible for property and facility painting and paint repairs, unit make-readies to ensure quality standards and appealing grounds keeping. Hands-on position painting while ensuring all safety requirements are consistently met with quality standards delivered.

Requirements

• High School or GED.
• Possess 1 year experience in a residential apartment complex, commercial building construction or painting preferred
• Have knowledge of knock down and orange peel techniques
• Ability to commute/relocate: Bradenton, FL 34209: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired

Responsibilities

• Performs routine painting tasks on community grounds and parking areas
• Completes all work orders in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task(s) performed along with all prescribed/pertinent equipment information.
• Assists in maintaining proper levels of materials and supplies for the campus to ensure the timely and efficient completion of necessary tasks.
• Attendance is essential to this job. Must also maintain dependability and punctuality as outlined in Attendance policy.

• Must possess a working knowledge of residential building painting
• Perform maintenance painting of wall, doors, frames, baseboards, ceilings, floors repairs, including texture painting, refinishing, etc.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff.
• Must function under general supervision. Must be flexible and have integrity. Must possess the ability of effectively work with residents and staff.
