About The Position

The successful maintenance operator assists with the operation, maintenance, and repair of oil and gas well equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. They maintain and repair production related equipment and troubleshoot problems often working with other crew members to optimize performance and address operational issues.

Requirements

• 1+ year of oil and gas maintenance operator, lease crew or roustabout experience preferred.
• Electrical maintenance background preferred.
• Familiarity with oil and gas production equipment, hand tools, and construction practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment.
• Effective communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with team members.
• Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Ability to work overtime and holidays as needed and be available for call-outs as required.
• Must live within 60 miles of Catarina TX.
• Must meet all conditional job offer requirements, including background check, drug screening, MVR, agility, and fit for duty.
• Must maintain a clear driving record, maintain company vehicle, and abide by vehicle policies.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance on production equipment, including pumps, separators, valves, controllers and other production related equipment.
• Conduct inspection and testing of safety systems including both pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot and repair various issues as it relates to the oil and gas well equipment and related facilities.
• Communicate with other team members and supervisors as it relates to repairs and maintenance of equipment and the tracking of said repairs and maintenance.
• Properly keep and maintain inventory of all necessary parts, equipment, tools and supplies needed for daily operations.
