Job Summary Job Summary: Working as Maintenance Operations Manager , you will be responsible for day to day operations of mechanical and electrical systems, along with POM, general maintenance and Preventative Maintenance Programs. Provides world class customer service and management of building management at Texas A&M University.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor degree preferred in related field
  • Minimum of five years' experience in either custodial, maintenance or grounds.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the performance of vendors to ensure highest quality of service and the best value
  • Installs the standard programs utilizing best practices in Maintenance
  • Takes the initiative in installing those programs required to manage the unit they are assigned.
  • Trains account personnel in proper maintenance techniques, procedures, and all safety procedures.
  • Performs all functions a manager performs in operating an account.
  • Operates, implements, and develops QA programs, CMMS, monthly reports.
  • Interfaces with clients and client staff to provide project status reports and to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Manages trades departments providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, utilities, carpentry and painting services at TAMU.
