About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Multi-Craft to join our company at our Harbor Beach, Michigan production facility. This role requires a highly motivated person with scaffold building or insulation and modification experience. VISA Sponsorship is not available for this position. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position. This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.

Requirements

• You have your High School Diploma/GED.
• You have a valid US drivers license.
• You have experience with and a solid understanding of insulating and/or scaffold parts, planning and installation.
• You are willing and able to obtain necessary certifications.
• You value safety and always take care to follow safety rules and procedures.
• You are familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with basic tasks such as checking email and entering information.
• You are willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
• You are a team player and willing to work with others to complete the job.
• You are willing and able to work a daytime schedule with overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years work experience in scaffold building and/or insulation installation.
• Previous experience working in a chemical plant.

Responsibilities

• Layout, plan, secure, modify, remove/install insulation and scaffold as needed to enable maintenance jobs and small projects.
• Help develop efficient work process and continually improve work process.
• Mentor/train others as needed.
• Responsible for management of the scaffold and insulation inventory.
• Work in Maintenance Management System (ERP) manage schedules, order parts, track work orders, etc.
• Execute basic multi-craft tasks.
• Perform basic hand rigging of scaffolding and scaffolding parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
