About The Position

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems as well as assisting in setting up production heating equipment for each job.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Mechanical systems, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, and compressed air systems.
• Ability to weld as needed to make repairs and complete projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Ability to use test equipment such as vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and various other tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous maintenance experience.

Nice To Haves

• Degree or certificate in related Maintenance field.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on all existing systems and equipment.
• Diagnose the root cause of mechanical malfunctions.
• Analyze and document test results, looking for irregularities and keeping a careful log.
• Ensure work orders are properly put into SAP.
• Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Modify mechanical and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics as needed to reflect revisions.
• Create schematics if none are available.
• Assist other Mechanical and Electrical Technicians as needed to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
• Help in maintaining parts inventory.
• Follow all safety and process procedures.
