About The Position

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you'll ensure optimal factory performance by conducting preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and machinery. You'll troubleshoot components such as pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and conveyors using specialized tools and technical documentation. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve urgent issues, support equipment installations and upgrades, and maintain accurate records in systems like SAP and COMOS. Requirements

  • 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience, with preferred education in mechanical, electromechanical, or mechatronics. HS Diploma required.
  • Skilled in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, including reading and interpreting related technical drawings and schematics.
  • Organized and disciplined in task execution, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with maintenance teams, suppliers, and production staff.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet tools.
  • Familiar with Maintenance Management Systems, with experience in COMOS and/or SAP considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Preventive and Corrective Maintenance to ensure mechanical systems operate reliably through inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and Diagnose Mechanical Failures in components like pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulics to reduce downtime and boost efficiency.
  • Support Continuous Improvement by participating in Genba walks, analyzing KPIs, and adopting a zero-breakdown mindset.
  • Maintain Technical Documentation including manuals, drawings, and maintenance logs for mechanical systems.
  • Perform Component Lifecycle Analysis to schedule replacements based on wear patterns, historical data, and equipment tree parameters.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance by following mechanical handling procedures and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
