Requirements

  • Two-year technical degree; OR equivalent technical training, and two years’ experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industrial mechanical maintenance expertise.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership experience.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Advanced training/certifications in Mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Preventative and Predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Experience with the maintenance of industrial hydraulic systems, gearboxes, couplings, furnaces, and compressors.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams, as well as vendors and contractors, to plan and prioritize maintenance work.
  • Lead the mechanical maintenance team along with the Supervisor to gain results in safety, performance, operational reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Execute effective maintenance processes including preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Conduct team member training and development.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Manage projects related to maintenance.
