About The Position

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to successfully complete training in Safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, food defense, SSOPs, lock out tag out, forklift, and pallet jack.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Prior experience using hand and power tools, precision measuring tools, and the ability to read and work from drawings and blueprints preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and locate parts/part numbers from machinery or equipment manuals or parts catalogs.
• Perform basic welding, primarily tig and stick, and identify good and bad welds.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
• Assemble, install, or repair plumbing, equipment, or machinery.
• Assemble, disassemble, repair, or replace defective equipment or parts.
• Perform basic hydraulics, including changing motors and making hoses.
• Complete necessary paperwork in the EAM system, including PM sheets and work orders.
• Assist in performing maintenance on scale equipment in applicable areas.
• Perform basic forklift maintenance, such as changing tires and replacing bushings.
• Notify lead or supervisor of any malfunctions or repairs needed.
