About The Position

The position involves performing maintenance of the facility, equipment, and systems, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and effectively. The role requires implementing and maintaining preventive maintenance on all equipment and machinery within the plant, as well as conducting building maintenance. The technician will diagnose problems, dismantle defective machines and equipment, and install new or repaired parts. Additionally, the role includes providing technical support, managing customer relations, and overseeing personnel for major programs and projects. Regular visual inspections and testing of machinery to detect malfunctions are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 year of maintenance experience in a food processing or manufacturing facility
• Good reading and writing skills
• Able to read blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings
• Mechanical aptitude
