We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Mechanic on our 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

Requirements

• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, walk/stand up to 4 hours, and push/pull up to 45 pounds
• Attention to detail
• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 years experience in a similar role
• Minimum of 1 year driving a forklift

Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance around the building, fixing structural damage, for example, windows, doors or wall repair, which would include dock doors
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.
• Maintaining the building HVAC thermostats to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly.
• Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems.
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injures.
• Painting as required.
• Assembles, installs, and repairs industrial machinery and equipment
• Moves machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies and forklifts
• Operates a boom/scissor lift to repair lighting and perform routine maintenance at 60’ heights
• Conducts inspections of fire protection system and HVAC system
• Oversees/participates in routine facility custodial work
• Maintains MSDS and other facility records to ensure facility remains in OSHA compliance
• Assists with special projects and other general office tasks as needed
