You can also expect to: Installing and maintaining machinery and equipment Operate hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools Troubleshoot mechanical failures and pneumatic systems Repair, rebuild, maintain mechanical drive systems Install material systems Experience with V-belt and Chain drive systems Machine troubleshooting and repair skills Health, Safety & Environmental: Facilitate and ensure adherence to safety regulations, rules and sound practices. Coordinate and participate in audits, prioritizing and tracking completion of findings. Ensure that unsafe behavior and conditions are corrected. Perform Safety audits and set the example for safety. Sanitation/Food Safety: Ensure the facility maintains world class sanitation standards. Prepare the facility for, and participate in, regulatory/third party/customer/company audits. Requirements

Must have a strong commitment to employee safety

Must have confident and courteous manner.
Must be able to hear and speak clearly, read, comprehend and communicate orally and in writing.
Position requires standing and walking for long periods, climbing stairs and ladders, working with tools, working within close-confined spaces, and working in extreme temperatures.
Must be willing to participate in team on-call rotation schedule.
Basic knowledge of machine mechanical systems acquired through training or experience
Experience with or willingness to learn forklift and scissors lift operations
Basic electrical skills are a plus

Responsibilities
