Requirements

  • Must be able to operate a forklift, and lift 75 pounds.
  • High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience in a processing facility or in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work overtime

Responsibilities

  • Install and troubleshoot industrial machine control systems including 3-wire and PLC controls.
  • Install, repair, and diagnose both AC & DC motors, single and three-phase power systems up to 480 volts.
  • Install, repair, and diagnose mechanical power transmission drives and related systems. (gearboxes, chains, sprockets, belts, and pulleys) as well as pneumatic equipment (compressors, blowers, solenoids, valves, cylinders, flow controls, etc.)
  • Install and repair general facility plumbing and perform carpentry work as required.
  • Support the PM system and apply industrial lubricants.
  • Properly handle and apply basic hand and power tools and test equipment.
  • Support the plant’s production equipment and set-up.
  • Execute breader mills, scalper, and sifter set-up, change-over, and disassembly requirements.
  • Responsible for the hook-up and unloading of bulk rail materials, and the proper hook-up of bulk-material trucks.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the robotic, conveyor, and bagging systems.
  • Responsible for the handling of waste oil in compliance with EPA rules.
  • Responsible for the daily inspection of forklift equipment.
  • Responsible for knowing and following company rules and procedures.
