Our team is made up of skilled mechanics, engineers, and technicians working to directly support our mission to providing high quality patient care by keeping our infrastructure, systems, and equipment running smoothly to the highest standards.

Requirements

  • Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to meet Fauquier Health driver’s insurance eligibility requirements.
  • Previous HVAC or General Maintenance experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hospital experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides basic operational duties to include performing repairs, preventative maintenance, record keeping, and troubleshooting using a variety of skills associated with the general maintenance field.
  • Performs safety and operational tests on critical utility systems as mandated by regulatory agencies or hospital policies. This would include but not be limited to: backflow preventions, water chemistry, alarms, steam traps, microwaves, electrical leakage tests, and emergency generators.
