As a Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll take ownership of installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and mechanical systems. You’ll uphold essential safety practices such as lockout/tagout, confined space entry, proper PPE use, ladder safety, GMPs, food defense procedures, and more.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of maintenance mechanic experience
  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits, safety codes, food plant safety standards, and NFPA 70e
  • Experience with computers and microprocessor systems (Microsoft Word & Excel preferred)
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and dedication to safe work practices

Responsibilities

  • Complete maintenance repairs and work orders with precision
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to keep equipment running at peak performance
  • Inspect machinery for potential malfunctions using visual and sound-based diagnostics
  • Use a wide range of hand and power tools
  • Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot boilers, mechanical systems, and electrical systems
  • Set up and install high-speed mechanical seals
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control systems, motors, and electro-pneumatic systems
  • Conduct daily wastewater testing and document results
  • Provide excellent internal customer service and support
  • Uphold essential safety practices such as lockout/tagout, confined space entry, proper PPE use, ladder safety, GMPs, food defense procedures, and more.
