About The Position

Chief Ethanol Fuels is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join the Chief Team. This position will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and equipment repair as needed . Requirements

Minimum 3 years of shipping or logistics experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation and carrier systems .
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED , preferred .
Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain proper lubrication of machines.
Take thermogram readings on a daily basis.
Fill out equipment operating time sheets daily.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment (includes motors, gear boxes, pumps, valves, etc.) using hand tools, shop equipment, and some precision tools.
Make decisions on repair that entail replacing standard parts.
Operate loader or forklift.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
