Be part of a team that treats you with respect and dignity. You will be working in a wastewater plant that treats Industrial wastewater from a bacon processor. If you enjoy working outdoors protecting natureâs precious resource, water, then this position is for you. Woodard & Curran is dedicated to our employeeâs growth and development and wants to help you on your career path. The Moberly, Missouri staff is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant and the building and grounds. The Operators/Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible not only for process monitoring and adjustments but will perform basic mechanical repairs on pumps, compressors, valves, and much more. You will participate in the daily operations and maintenance of the wastewater treatment facility as directed by the plant manager. Our staff participates in an âon callâ rotation for plant coverage outside normal workday hours and shifts may include weekends and holidays. In addition, operators will be required to respond to emergency situations and work in inclement weather as needed. Schedule: The schedule is typically 8 on 6 off. Hours: 6:00pm to 4:00am. The operators work from Tuesday through the following Tuesday and then get the next 6 days off. Weekdays are 10 hour days and the weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and holidays are 12 hour days
