About The Position
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in support of the site in Berkeley, MO ! The ideal candidate for this position will have a solid fundamental understanding of various Mechanical competencies to include: Mechanic Machine Repair, Maintenance Mechanic All-Around, Mechanic Automotive, and Facility Maintenance Position Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining aviation ground support equipment. Perform daily inspections and complete associated paperwork. Maintain maintenance periodic inspection plan and perform tasks to plan Maintain facility cleanliness by using powered and un-powered cleaning equipment Assist in maintaining inventory control of support equipment. Maintain support equipment facility Assist in planning and performing unusual and difficult work where standard or recognized inspection methods may not be available Assist in performing a sequence of operations where standard methods may not be available. Care and judgment to fit and adjust parts and assemblies to requirements and specifications Assist in performing a sequence of operations where standard methods may or may not be available. Considerable judgment necessary to perform complicated operations This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in Production Equipment Maintenance
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of experience in Ground Support Equipment Maintenance
- Experience specific to military fighter Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
- Forklift Certified
