Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic - Brooklyn. In this role, the successful candidate Have working knowledge of all trades: electricity plumbing carpentry painting and HVAC and work on associated systems and equipment Capable of following manufacturers assembly sketches and drawings and simple blueprints
Requirements
- High school or equivalent trade school graduate preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Must have a working knowledge in the operation and maintenance of all equipment components in the power plant
- Must have an excellent grasp in all trades
- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Have some knowledge on how to operate chillers absorbers Co Gen
- Have good knowledge of boiler operations and trouble shooting
- Be capable to do some plumbing work valves traps etc
- Know how to and perform water testing and chemical treatment
- Install maintain and repair pumps compressor motors fans etc
- Maintain repair and adjust heating and cooling systems controls
- Maintain repair San I Pak machine sterilizers
- Repair different rolling equipment beds stretchers crash carts etc
- Have good knowledge of electrical wiring capable to replace parts
- Maintain and repair fire alarm system and sprinkler system
- Install and repair hardware on doors windows lockers and other equipment
- Maintain and repair carwash dishwashing machines kettles etc
