From elite testing equipment to strength and stretching machines, we offer it all. Come be a part of our team! We are currently looking for an Intermediate Level Maintenance Mechanic. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure safe, efficient operation of machinery and facilities. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position is a temp-to-hire using a third-party agency. Employees are evaluated after 90 days andoffered a position with the company if they are meeting expectations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems; electrical and PLC knowledge a plus
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Basic computer skills for work orders and documentation
  • Ability to lift up to [weight], stand for long periods, and work in varied environments

Nice To Haves

  • Welding, fabrication, or machining experience
  • HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certification
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and safety hazards
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to minimize downtime
  • Assist with equipment installation and facility improvements as needed
