Maintenance Mechanic - Coal Center, PA Shift: Midnight Shift The opportunity: Support the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility. Must be able to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems andponents. Must be able to knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restore in all areas of Manufacturing. Primary duties include the install, start up and shut down of equipment in accordance withpany safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown in line with OSHA requirements; inform appropriate management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and innt dangers involved and maintainpany-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment. The job also includes performing preventative maintenance functions as directed, assist maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting and to perform other duties as required. The ideal candidate will have a strongmitment to working safely and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong desire to learn the maintenance ofplex machinery, and have a desire to advance within thepany.

Requirements

  • Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to work safely, maintain a clean and safe work environment, andply with all safety regulations.
  • A thorough knowledge of electricalponents and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
  • Computer experience/operation and PLC programming.
  • Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
