About The Position

At our Quincy, MI facility, we proudly produce Hebrew National Hot Dogs, known for their premium quality and kosher standards. We’re looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

• 1+ years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical drive/ control systems relating to production and facilities equipment maintenance.
• Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Mechanical skills used to trouble-shoot equipment is required.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• 2 years of basic computer
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and Must have at least 1 year of current work history in the past 4 months with no break.
• Ability to lift 50-80 pounds.
• Wear all required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance across a wide range of industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Handle repairs and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Work with systems including: Pumps Motors Gearboxes Conveyors Chillers Pneumatics Hydraulics Other industrial production equipment
• Operate within multiple disciplines of maintenance, adapting to the needs of the facility.
• Respond to sound alerts from equipment and communicate effectively via radio.
• Walk short distances throughout the plant to perform tasks and inspections.
• Maintain excellent attendance, work the required shift, and be available for overtime as needed.
