About The Position

Help keep our high-pressure die casting presses running at peak performance. We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Machinery Mechanic with the skills to repair and rebuild vertical and horizontal high-pressure die casting presses ranging from 850T to 2,000T. If you have a knack for heavy machinery repair, hydraulics, and mechanical troubleshooting, you’ll fit right in.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience: 2+ years in industrial maintenance, heavy machinery repair, or similar role (die casting equipment experience preferred).
  • Skills: Able to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain required equipment licenses.
  • Work Style: Hands-on, safety-minded, and comfortable working with large-scale machinery in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Hydraulic pipe welding certification a plus (or willingness to train).

Responsibilities

  • Repair, rebuild, and maintain vertical and horizontal high-pressure die casting presses (850T–2,000T), and related equipment.
  • Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues using schematics and blueprints.
  • Perform welding, fabrication, and precision fitting of components.
  • Operate cranes, forklifts, and lifting equipment to handle large press components.
  • Conduct inspections to prevent breakdowns and keep production on schedule.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams for efficient press operation.
