BakeMark is a manufacturer and distributor with 23 branches conveniently-located across the U.S. Summary:This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the production equipment and plant facility in a conscientious and reliable manner, consistent with Company standards.

Requirements

  • Must have 3 or more years of related experience.
  • PLC skills.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical & electro - mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and interpret written instructions and procedures, business correspondence, reports and schedules.
  • Ability to apply concepts, such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations, using a ten-key, calculator and computer.
  • Requires the ability to independently define problems, collect data, establish facts and solve practical problems.
  • Must be able to apply common sense when problem solving. Must be able to apply routine protocols as well as identify when the routines do not apply in a specific situation. The position requires the ability to develop priorities and adjust work plans to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years or more Technical School education preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs preventative and repair maintenance on equipment.
  • Starts machines and equipment to test operation following repair.
  • Records preventative maintenance tasks and work orders in timely manner.
  • Troubleshoots various areas in the plant.
  • Regular inspections and test procedures.
  • Completes work orders and responds to maintenance calls.
  • Inventories spare parts and reports usage.
  • Other duties as assigned.
