About The Position

Perform general building maintenance and repairs including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic electrical and HVAC support. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and facility equipment. Perform small engine repair and maintenance. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on building systems and equipment. Respond to maintenance work orders and emergency calls in a timely manner. Plumbing fixture maintenance: water heaters, sinks and faucets, toilets, and drains. Maintain preventive maintenance programs. Maintenance and repair of the facility, including suites, door hardware, locks, woodworking, and other special projects as assigned. Assist other departments and Operations sub-departments as directed. Assist in other projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in general maintenance.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • General facility maintenance experience.
  • Ability to communicate and understand complex directions.
  • Able to work flexible hours; hours might include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to be on call for emergencies, 24/7
  • As a condition of employment, qualified applicant will be subject to a background check, including a criminal history check, driver history and character references.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, possess a suitable driving history and be insurable by the Organization’s insurance carrier.
  • Lifting, carrying, bending, moving, and climbing.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Able to work in confined spaces.
  • Able to work in different degrees of heights.
