About The Position

A Maintenance Mechanic I typically refers to a skilled worker who specializes in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment in various industries with higher level of experience. Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on various types of machinery and equipment, including industrial machines, production equipment, utilities systems, and more. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify the root causes of problems and implement effective solutions. Repair and Replacement: Perform repairs, adjustments, and replacements of faulty components, such as motors, pumps, bearings, belts, gears, sensors, and wiring. Welding and Fabrication: Utilize welding and fabrication skills to repair or modify equipment as needed. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory of spare parts. Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Training: Provide guidance and training to less experienced maintenance staff.
