As a Maintenance Mechanic, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED preferred
Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively
Team player, able to lead and contribute to a team effort
Excellent communication and people skills
Analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred
Able to work safely and efficiently
Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics preferred

Nice To Haves

Glass processing knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

Maintain spare parts inventory and order parts as needed.
Perform general preventative maintenance and repairs on facility machinery and equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, loaders).
Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues and pneumatic valves.
Weld, fabricate, and patch steel components as needed.
Rig and install motors, conveyor pulleys, and other heavy machinery.
Maintain and back up sorting computer software and parameters.
Complete daily maintenance logs and manage preventive maintenance programs.
Communicate equipment issues across shifts and support team efforts.
Provide on-the-job training to new employees and serve as backup for other technicians.
