About The Position

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you create safe and welcoming environments for our patients, visitors and employees. You will perform general maintenance and repairs of the hospital’s facilities and mechanical, plumbing, electrical and pneumatic equipment. In this role, you will monitor and inspect work to ensure code and regulation compliance. On Call hours may be required on an as needed basis. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent or trade school diploma or degree from technical school
• Must have working knowledge of electricity, fire safety codes, refrigeration, and air conditioning codes
• 1-2 years previous experience in similar positions in an institutional setting

• Licensed/Certified in one or more trades or disciplines
