About The Position

Repair, install, and maintain electrical and mechanical components of machinery such as engines, motors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electrical systems, machine controls, and other production equipment. This role requires availability for emergencies 24/7/365 such as machine breakdowns, power outages, or adverse weather conditions.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical school, or at least three years of related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and communicate clearly.
  • Math skills including whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, and graph interpretation.
  • Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
  • Basic computer skills including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, talk, and hear regularly; lift 25–50 lbs as required.
  • Ability to work in environments with noise, chemicals, and required PPE.
  • Support 24/7 service operations to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with company, federal, state, and local health and safety standards.
  • Basic personal computer skills with email, word processing, printing, PDF, and documentation needs.
  • Assist with small projects as a team member, installer, and fabricator.
  • Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks (PMs).
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and sketches with common symbols.
  • Specify, configure, and install direct replacement electrical components.
  • Measure and understand electrical concepts including single/three‑phase power, AC/DC, voltage, current, resistance, capacitance.
  • Design and install simple control circuits (switches, relays, indicators, buttons).
  • Understand power system components including conductors, circuit protection, transformers, motors, power supplies, generators.
  • Understand basics of PLC, HMI, PCNC, SCADA, and other control systems.
  • Read and understand mechanical drawings.
  • Understand mechanical principles including temperature, pressure, and flow.
  • Diagnose and install basic mechanical components including pumps, valves, regulators, filters, pulleys.
  • Specify, configure, and install direct replacement mechanical components.
  • Understand basic principles of motion control.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve company goals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold integrity and professionalism.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
