JOB SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for the maintenance and repair of all airport buildings focusing on HVAC, electrical and plumbing.

Requirements

Knowledge of practices, tools, and materials used in maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and sanitary equipment.
Knowledge of Computer Maintenance Management System’s (CMMS).
Knowledge and ability to use power and hand tools.
Computer skills.
Good organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Detail Oriented.
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
High school graduate or equivalent
Trade school or equivalent
General building maintenance, building trades or HVAC.
One year of experience as a journeyman in plumbing, electrical or HVAC.
Locksmith experience.
Possess a valid driver’s license and must meet NAA driving record requirements.
Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility to hold a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge as may be required by assigned job duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain physical facilities of the terminal. Assist other departmental personnel in the maintenance of building equipment whenever necessary.
Repair or replace commercial plumbing and electrical fixtures.
Sheetrock repair, paint.
Clean and restore airport facilities as required or specified.
Snow removal operations and snow removal equipment maintenance.
Installation and repair of ceiling grid systems.
Repair and or rekey, re-pin commercial locksets.
Performs all other duties as assigned and directed.
Administer and adhere to all Authority policies and guidelines.
