About The Position
Working under the direction of a Caltrans Maintenance Area Supervisor, incumbent performs a variety of skilled work in the operation, maintenance and repair of Sutter/Sierra Region Buildings/Facilities which includes Region Office, Maintenance Barns/ Offices, Wash Racks, Dormitories, Kitchens, Safety Roadside Rest Area Buildings/Facilities, Landscape Building/Pump Houses, and CHP Weigh Stations/Point of Entry's. May be required to work emergency call out after hours. This position is required to travel throughout the Sutter/Sierra Region, incumbent must possess a valid Class C driver's license.
