About The Position
MacLean-Fogg is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Mechanic to assist in the repair and maintenance of our equipment and machinery. This role is crucial for ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine and moderate maintenance on plant equipment, diagnosing and repairing breakdowns related to machinery, utility services, and building structures. Your expertise will make a real impact in maintaining the high standards of our production environment. In this position, you will utilize your technical proficiency to repair and maintain machinery according to diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications. You will also be tasked with identifying and specifying necessary tools, parts, and surplus stock to minimize downtime. Completing all necessary documentation accurately and adhering to 5S standards to maintain a clean and organized work area will be essential. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. Additionally, you may be required to perform other tasks as assigned to support the team and operations.
