This is a Maintenance Mechanic position at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, focused on operating and maintaining critical energy infrastructure. You'll be responsible for managing HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the airport's central energy plant to ensure optimal efficiency and minimal downtime.

Operate, inspect, and maintain all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment in the energy plant
Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on plant systems and equipment
Monitor building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and electrical distribution equipment
Conduct energy plant inspections and report conditions affecting operations
Diagnose and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime
Submit daily work documentation, update work orders in real-time using CMMS (Corrigo)
Complete hazard assessments, maintain safety procedures, attend safety meetings
Address client needs and escalate issues to management when necessary
Apply technical expertise in primary craft area while supporting other disciplines

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum 4 years of technical experience in building engineering with energy plant operations background
3rd Party Boiler Operator Certification
Valid driver's license (defensive driving required)
COVID-19 vaccination (client requirement for on-site work)

Two years of trade school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration/HVAC, plumbing, or other craft skills
Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel
Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs, work from heights up to 30 feet, and work in extreme conditions
Knowledge of plant system design and operation
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
