About The Position

Our hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance, repair, and safety procedures required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical and preventative tasks.
• Conduct inspections, services, repairs, and overhauls on hospital equipment as directed.
• Install new equipment and systems as assigned, ensuring compliance with manufacturer’s specifications, applicable codes, regulations, and hospital safety policies.
• Coordinate and inspect projects to ensure they meet quality standards within an approved time frame and comply with city/state codes and JACHO.
• Carry out routine and specific assignments to ensure the physical plant and assigned equipment are in safe operating condition and comply with applicable hospital policies and regulatory/accrediting codes.
