About The Position
8.0 Hour/Day;260 Days/Year Salary Schedule: Maintenance Mechanic
Requirements
- Knowledge of commercial and institutional plumbing systems, including domestic hot/cold water, sanitary, storm and hydronic piping.
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen plumbing systems and food service equipment connections.
- Ability to use pipe threading, soldering, and cutting tools safely and effectively.
- Working knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations (licensure not required).
- Ability to diagnose problems and make effective, lasting repairs.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems interactions.
- Strong communication and record keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks across multiple sites.
