About The Position

As a Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright at Kimberly-Clark in Neenah, WI, you will be responsible for preventing and fixing problems on technologically advanced, high-speed machines that produce top-notch products. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of continuous work experience.
  • Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright State Certification or completion of a formal four-year apprenticeship.
  • Basic machine shop, welding, and fabricating skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and related technical literature.
  • Proficiencies in assembly, disassembly, and installation of mechanical systems.
  • Understanding of predictive and preventative maintenance concepts.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel & Word.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Ability to maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment assessment and drug/background screening.
  • Ability to pass post-offer/pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance throughout the plant environment.
  • Fabricate/weld parts using blueprints/schematics.
  • Assemble, disassemble and install mechanical systems used in high-speed manufacturing.
  • Use digital technology.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by mill leadership.
