About The Position

AGC Electronics America (AGCEA) manufactures high-purity Silicon Carbide (SiC) Ceramics materials and CMP Slurries for the semiconductor industry. We also serve as a distributor for other AGC Electronics Materials manufactured in Japan and elsewhere. We are headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA, and are a division of AGC Flat Glass North America. We are seeking to add an experienced, licensed LME, out tight knit, highly skilled maintenance team. Job Summary Performs maintenance and repair of the facility’s structure, equipment and grounds. Work may include supporting plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Performs routine preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance according to specification on assigned machinery and systems. Conducts daily rounds to monitor facility equipment, record sensor data, and determine necessary repair work. Works from blueprints, drawings, and written procedures. Performs duties of general contractor on projects, which includes full cycle project coordination.

Requirements

  • Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) License
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Previous experience performing maintenance in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework in journey-level mechanical trades
  • HVAC preventative maintenance experience
  • Working knowledge of CNC machines and/or wastewater

Responsibilities

  • Performs maintenance and repair of the facility’s structure, equipment and grounds.
  • Work may include supporting plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fabrication projects.
  • Repair, replace, and maintain electrical equipment operating at less than 600 volts.
  • Performs routine preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance according to specification on assigned machinery and systems.
  • Conducts daily rounds to monitor facility equipment, record sensor data, and determine necessary repair work.
  • Works from blueprints, drawings, and written procedures.
  • Facilitates site projects; manages 3rd party vendors while on site
