About The Position

As a Maintenance Mechanic Level 3 here at Honeywell , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair activities. You will report directly to our Maintenance Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Shreveport, LA location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our operations by ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning properly, thus contributing to the overall success of the business. Requirements

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of machinery and systems.
  • Experience with maintenance management systems and tools.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, utilizing your expertise in mechanical systems to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
  • Repair and replace faulty components and parts, ensuring proper functioning of equipment and systems
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify potential issues and address them proactively
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections
  • Adhere to safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
