Ready to be part of something special? Join our Family! Job Title: Mechanic I or Mechanic II. This position is on 3rd shift running 3:15pm - 11:45pm Monday through Friday with opportunities for daily and/or weekly overtime. Company paid, competency based courses are required.

Requirements

• Possess high school diploma or GED.
• Must obtain forklift certification within 60 days after starting job.
• Prior industrial maintenance experience helpful.
• Must pass required maintenance testing and demonstrate hands on ability and or knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, power transmissions, lubrication, pumps, pipe rigging, mechanical maintenance, operation of shop machines, use of work-related tools, combustion, motors, schematics and print reading, basic AC and DC theory.

Nice To Haves

• Prior industrial maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain machinery and equipment specific to the operations, in accordance with blue prints, schematic drawings, operations manuals, and manufacturer's specifications.
• Diagnose malfunctions in production machinery and equipment.
• Service, repair and replace defective parts.
• Lubricate machinery and perform other routine maintenance on production machinery.
• Analyze and diagnose production machinery and equipment malfunctions.
• Provide technical assistance to the production department in set-up and changeover of production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment and document tasks performed in preventive maintenance records.
• Identify ways to improve production methods by observing work processes and working with line personnel.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to enhance in-house maintenance capabilities.
• Maintain and service the external components of the dust collection system.
