Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Working toward a technical degree in electrical, electronics, hydraulics, fluid power, robotics or related field.
  • Education in manufacturing/machining programs (i.e. Mechanical Troubleshooting, PLC Controls, Trouble Shooting and Diagnostics, and Electronics).
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to disassemble equipment, access problems, and reassemble in an expeditious manner.
  • Ability to adjust machines physical placement and parameters to original machine specifications.
  • Proficient working knowledge of a variety of electronic controls.
  • Understand safety rules and regulations to prevent unsafe set-ups, operations, or acts, which might cause injury to self, others or the environment.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of all company-owned machine tools, assembly equipment and Graco owned manufacturing assets.
  • Perform testing, adjustments and repair in the area of hydraulics, mechanical elements, electrical and electronics.
  • Disassemble equipment, access problems, and reassemble in an expeditious manner.
  • Read and understand mechanical prints and electrical schematics.
  • Promptly respond to customer maintenance requests concerning equipment breakdowns.
  • Provide support to departmental personnel as workload dictates.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records.
  • Order parts/supplies and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Follow all required safety guidelines and utilize the proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
