Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Operating knowledge of machine shop related equipment, CNC programming and welding experience preferred.
• Advanced mechanical knowledge, electrical and basic to advanced building skills
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of conveyor systems and production machinery to ensure continuous, efficient plant operations.
• Execute major equipment repairs, fabrication, construction, and installation projects, including welding to food-safe standards and precise mechanical assembly.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues through detailed inspection, use of precision measuring tools, and interpretation of mechanical schematics.
• Fabricate and maintain critical plant components such as guards, doors, steps, shafts, sprockets, and mounting brackets using lathes, metal sheers, benders, and welding equipment.
• Provide training and guidance to production teams on maintenance best practices to reduce downtime and ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols.
