Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for preventive and reactive maintenance on facilities, equipment, systems and machines within the plant.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 or more years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within a machine shop
  • Familiar with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate these skillsets: Blueprint reading experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team and undergo cross-training
  • Effective communications skills

Responsibilities

  • Maintain production equipment and machines
  • Perform preventive, corrective and scheduled maintenance on machines and equipment
  • Troubleshoot problems and identify potential solutions
  • Completes work orders as assigned by Maintenance Manager using Maintenance Work Order Database
  • Coordinate with vendors and technicians for repairs and installations
