The Maintenance Mechanic II will perform routine equipment and facility repairs and service while complying with regulatory requirements and company standards. The position requires performing routine repairs and service on equipment and facility, minimizing production downtime due to mechanical reasons through quick response, and conducting preventative maintenance inspections and procedures such as lubricating, cleaning, and adjusting. The role also involves developing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills with guidance from the Maintenance Supervisor, Mechanic 1, or Maintenance Manager. Additional responsibilities include utilizing a wide variety of hand and portable tools, assisting in running services to new or relocated equipment, performing carpentry work as needed, learning packaging equipment setup and changeover, and complying with safety procedures.
