About The Position

As a Maintenance Mechanic III you will organize, coordinate, and execute projects of varying complexity in order to maintain the facility and manufacturing equipment. This includes a wide variety of tasks such as maintaining and repairing manufacturing and facilities equipment, performing preventive maintenance and repairs of all manufacturing and facilities equipment, assisting the facilities department with the upkeep of the building, interpreting drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's specifications while troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and taking an active role to help ensure that all manufacturing/facility systems are functioning as designed.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent with a two-year electrical or mechanical technical degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • 8+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting with medical device, pharmaceutical or other regulated manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Class 2B Boiler license with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on boiler experience
  • EPA 608 Universal Technician Certification (equivalent experience may be considered)
  • Machining experience operating a mill and lathe preferred
  • Welding experience with TIG and MIG welders preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and repairing manufacturing and facilities equipment
  • Performing preventive maintenance and repairs of all manufacturing and facilities equipment
  • Assisting the facilities department with the upkeep of the building
  • Interpreting drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's specifications while troubleshooting equipment malfunctions
  • Taking an active role to help ensure that all manufacturing/facility systems are functioning as designed
