About The Position

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all‑inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Assists Maintenance Mechanic II's in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and lock repairs.
Maintains light fixtures.
Oils and adjusts office furniture.
Maintains lawn and snow removal equipment.
Maintains lawns and removes snow.
Repair and Paint interior walls.
Repairs office furniture.
Assists with custodial duties.
Assists with snow removal activities, participates in rotating on-call schedule for snow events.
General Construction

Desirable Knowledge and Abilities:
Basic knowledge of the principles of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems and carpentry. Ability to repair various systems and interact effectively with co‑workers.
Training and Experience:
Graduation from high school and some experience in grounds maintenance, building maintenance and custodial related tasks.
In evaluating candidates for this position, the County may consider a combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Starting pay commensurate based on experience level.
