About The Position

Maintenance Mechanic – Plant Operations Rome Health is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Plant Operations team. This position helps keep our hospital buildings and equipment safe, working, and well-maintained. The right candidate will have hands-on experience with basic building maintenance, be comfortable running snow removal equipment, and have solid mechanical skills. You'll handle a variety of repair and maintenance tasks across the hospital and our satellite locations, with support and training from experienced mechanics when needed. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid New York State Driver's License
• Mechanical ability and hands-on maintenance experience

Nice To Haves

• Building trade classes or training are a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work on buildings and equipment
• Help keep hospital facilities safe and in good working order
• Operate snow removal equipment during winter months
• Work at the main hospital and other Rome Health locations
• Take part in scheduled weekends and on-call rotation
