Maintenance Mechanic-Electrical
About The Position
Following all safety rules and practices Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels Performing emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations Accurately using measurement and test equipment Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed Maintain clean and organized work area, and cleaning up work area as part of completing assigned tasks Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork Troubleshooting and solving problems Maintaining teamwork with other associates; and Performing other duties as assigned by supervision
Requirements
- Requires strong electrical and mechanical skills and aptitude
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Written and verbal communications skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices
- Well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills and experience
- Ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team
- Must be willing to work OT including Saturdays and Sundays as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred skills in pneumatics, electrical, PLC and hydraulics
- Post High School training preferred
- Corrugated Industry Maintenance experience preferred
